This is one of the best books that I have read on the subject of Israel & the Church. Samuel writes with theological clarity and accurately represents the passionate heart of King Jesus for His people. (I felt stirred to pray for Israel more than anything — God's heart for Israel was palpable to me while reading this book). Do we as a Church have dry eyes or unceasing anguish (like the Apostle Paul had) for Israel? This book will help give you greater clarity on Israel's calling and destiny as a people group, get greater clarity on the Gospel, and provoke to you pray for Israel! Samuel's book also addresses the problems with replacement theology and supercessionism, the three promises made to Abraham and his descendants, and how do we relate to the complexity of the modern state of Israel. I enjoyed the 1-6 part layout of the book. Check this book out! It is a great addition to my resource library. There is so much good content packed into this 236 page book. Enjoy!Product details

Thought provoking and well written
One of the best books I've read on the issue of how the Church needs to relate to Israel in the light of God's promises to her that will find their ultimate fulfillment at the return of her Messiah.

Great book with phenomenal Biblical insight delivered through line upon line teaching and exegesis. This book truly enhances an understanding of the fullness of the gospel through the whole of Scripture. It has truly blessed me.
Enjoyed the book immensely. It is an exhaustive and comprehensive study of the place of Israel in scripture. It is also very repetitive and very difficult to read in that regard. I call this a must read for every Christian.
One King is one of the most comprehensive books on the subject of Israel and the destiny of the Jewish people AND how those topics relate to God's redemptive history and purpose for the church that I have ever read. It is scholarly, yet easy to understand because it is based on Scripture alone (not on opinion or a particular "brand" of theology). The controversy over the nation of Israel and the rise of anti-Semitism in our day make this book vitally important to every serious student of the Bible! I HIGHLY recommend it!
Very level headed and balanced, with a personal touch of intellectual brilliance and insight. Although One King is a book about the reality of today, it also has a timeless response for the Jews and the Nations. We are woven together to be part of the climax of history toward the end of this age. A new time is coming, but before that, a drama is unfolding to reveal one reality we will have only One King to rule the earth. His kingdom is not of this world, except in our hearts and hands and mouths. This world will be ruled by His kingdom principles of righteousness, justice, peace and mercy. Come our King! Come
I agree with the endorsement of Dr. Walter C. Kaiser, JR. "My only wish is that this book may fall into the hands of every serious Bible student and pastor." This book is a must read if you love the Gospel. When you are finished reading through the entire book you will realize the Gentile world is missing a huge piece of the puzzle in God's plan to redeem the nations. If you have ever wanted to read a book that will help clarify some of the most important passages in the New Testament this is your book. Ephesians chapter 2 and 3 will be understood in a new and refreshing way. The promises of God are for all people through Jesus Christ. But the inclusion of the Gentiles does not mean the exclusion of God's elect nation. The book is not bogged down with deep and difficult themes that leaves the reader lost in a sea of confusion. You will like this book.. I highly recommend it!
